However, if you get the pfizer vaccine first dose, you can't switch to Moderna for the second dose.
This is the first use of this technology (mRNA) for approved vaccines, and one good thing about this pandemic is that it may accelerate the adoption of this promising technology... there is research into using this technology to make cancer vaccines!
