I find it difficult to believe that all these Congressmen (and the 18 Republican State officials who also signed on to the Texas Supreme Court lawsuit to overthrow the election) actually believe the election was stolen by the Democrats. No, they are acting like this because they didn't like the way it turned out and they are willing to try anything to get back into power.

Oh, you can say that they are doing this to stay on Trump's good side, or they are just trying to kiss the base's ass, or are trying to maintain their GOP bona fides.

But the truth is that they (along with most of the Republican voters), believe in their Party's goals and agenda more than they believe in democracy. Either that, or they believe their party's goals and agenda IS democracy. Either way, we're fucked.
