They live in a pre-science world of witches, demons, and vengeful gods... they don't accept the germ theory of disease, evolution, climate change, or basic facts. Instead it's insane convoluted conspiracy theories they use to explain reality...

I really doubt our democracy can survive this epidemic of idiocy that has consumed conservatives.
