The world needs to pay attention.
No matter how this works out, the world needs to watch, very closely.
This will either be a great tragedy, or an enormous triumph. We are watching play out one of the great moments of history, like the French Revolution, or the Russian Revolution. Whatever happens will change the world forever. I used to fantasize about living in times like this, to be an eyewitness to history; but now that I am here I feel nothing but dread.
