Several satellites caught amazing images, Goes, Sentinal, the Japanese sats...

Did you see the lightning strike map?

Showed up on barometers here at NCAR.

So far, no reports of deaths, the explosion was still far away from the closest inhabitants. Not much info getting out. There has been another plume detected from satellite images.
