Resistance to long-accepted common-sense, traditional methods of dealing with epidemics is not arising from lofty, constitutional grounds, or from freedom- loving citizens fighting to preserve their god-given rights.

They are the result of deliberate and malicious campaigns designed to prolong this medical crisis for as long as possible for political reasons. The Russians want to weaken the West. Republicans want to embarrass Biden so they can defeat him at the polls. Our social media earns more in advertising by inflaming people with lies and rumors than by providing them with truthful information.

OK, maybe some people are honestly mistaken about vaccines, masks and isolation and how they work.
Maybe some people have a valid point when they are concerned about the personal freedom aspects of perfectly routine medical prophylaxis measures.
And MAYBE, the free market, left to itself, will eventually stabilize to a point of efficiency and social justice.

But these are small percentages of the population. The fact is, we're going through all this vaccine resistance NOW is the result of the factors I mention above: foreign meddling, Conservative perfidy, and corporate greed. The three have synergistically combined to profitably manipulate an ignorant population long-prepped by right-wing propaganda to believe that their oppressors are NOT the people who decide when to hire them, who determine their wages, who provide them with everything they need to survive (at a profit), and who can then withhold that livelihood whenever it threatens to cut into their profits.

If you really need a conspiracy to explain the universe, try that one on for size.
