Steven Colbert interviewed a former ambassador to Russia last night
They were discussing the massive propaganda campaign Putin was conducting about his Ukrainian adventure.
Colbert asked him if everyone believed the party line, or if there was any skepticism among the Russian people.
His guest replied the nation was split, and that those most likely to believe the lies were the poor and unsophisticated, the uneducated and the old.
Imagine that.
