Not looking good for the Tories
They’ve lost their jewel in their crown local authority to Labour, previously it was tory controlled for 58 years. They’ve also lost control of the local authority hailed as the one ‘where it leads the country follows’ as it so often returns a result that is then seen in a general election.
Voter turnout is very low, much more than usual. I suspect that’s not apathy but disillusionment with a side helping of Tory voter abstinence to send them a clear message that voters have Had Enough.
