Sag A * masses about 4 million solar masses.
The one in the M87 galaxy is over a thousand times more massive. Which may be related to the size of the Galaxy. M87 has over a trillion stars
Black holes formed from highly evolved stars (supernova events, etc) are rarely over several solar masses.
