A fast sailing yacht, with fair winds, can average about a hundred nautical miles per day. The ark had no propulsion, it was simply drifting helplessly. There is no way it could have floated from Mesopotamia to New Zealand in just forty days and forty nights.
Besides, if this was true, how did Noah and his people get back to the Middle East? And for that matter, how did all those animals cross the Pacific and Indian Oceans to get back to their modern habitats? 8)
