Cheney is desperately trying to whitewash the lurid details of his sordid life by shamelessly slandering all his former colleagues and associates. Ignore him.
He has succeeded in evading justice, but he need not be rehabilitated. The damage he has done to his country is incalculable.
It must not be justified, even by criticism.
