Except I doubt Kamala is half as smart or anywhere near as qualified as Hilary was.
I have a bad feeling about Kamala, And Biden, bless his heart, is just too old. My own favorites are Liz Warren or Bernie Sanders, but I doubt either of them can win. Buttigieg is sharp and competent, and highly articulate, but too inexperienced. He's just not ready yet. I wish Sherrod Brown would run, but I don't see anyone else on the Left that excites me.
And whoever the Dems put up, they'll have to face Trump, DeSantis. Cruz or Scott. So even if a Democrat clearly wins, you know the election is going to be contested, and this time the courts and election commissions are going to be stacked with election denialists.
Right now, the only way I can see us not slipping into outright fascism is if Mitt Romney runs, or perhaps, a Cheney-Kinzinger ticket.
Yeah, its that bad.

Unfortunately, it would give the D's the same choice as in 2016.
