When Trump first ran for President
I remember that he was different than when I first saw him on interviews and TV appearances. He used to be articulate, well-spoken...he sounded like an intelligent, well-educated man.
By the time he ran for office I had noticed a definite deterioration of his apparent mental condition. How much of this was due to his own performance, or to his determination to sound more like a "normal" person, I don't know.
I don't know what's worse, having a national leader who is non compos mentis, or one who thinks his constituency consists of knuckle-dragging illiterates.
