Egypt still resisting allowing aid into Southern Gaza
Food, water, medical supplies, etc are piling up in the Egyptian city of El-Arish near the Gaza border. Contrary to Egyptian claims, the issue is not damaged roads into Rafah. It is the resistance to allowing refugees into Sinai. Egypt already hosts 9 million refugees mostly from Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Syria. They're afraid of turning Sinai into a situation like what existed in Lebanon for years with palestinians coming in and eventually controlling their own zone there. It's unclear to me why that prevents aid from at least moving IN to Rafah.
