NASA is saying the helium leaks are not serious
The delayed return is to run tests on the leaks that will be impossible after the spacecraft returns to earth. I'm hoping they are right and for a safe return of course. Worse case I would think the two Starliner crew members could return on a Dragon spacecraft in the next couple months and let Starliner descend uncrewed back to earth.
