I took my weekly trip to the stupormarket today; not a chore I particularly look forward to. Its always crowded, filled with ugly people, and the temperature was in the 90s in the parking lot, even before you add the humidity correction.

I got to my car, popped the boot open and was getting ready to transfer a huge pile of grocs into the car.
A young lady parked next to me stepped out of her car and came over, flashed a beautiful smile at me and asked; "Do you need some help loading up your car, sir?". At first I was a bit miffed, surely I didn't look THAT helpless and defeated! But I could see she was sincere and just trying to be helpful, and she was as pretty as a button. I mumbled a "No, thank you very much. I think I can handle it." After a moment, I came up with a comeback. "But if I were just a bit younger, I just might have taken you up on your offer."

She flashed that big smile of hers and drove away, laughing.
