We can look for life that's like what is on our own world at least. These SWIM mini bots are the size of a smart phone. I have close to 100 apps on my phone. Let's say we put about 25 apps on these puppies and they can do a lot of things. Measure the temperature, chemicals and other conditions, AND look for signs of microbial life. And have a freaking flashlight and camera that can take pics and video. Plus there will be a swarm of them. We're not living in the Apollo age. We can do a lot with off the shelf tech. When making a ten year voyage make the most of it FFS.
