Hurricane force, desiccating wind.
Have your neighborhood turn on every hydrant and tap, see what happens to the water pressure. It was not designed for this. Doesn't matter how much water was in the reservoirs, or the mountain top tanks.
Even if they had the water, it would have made no goddamn difference. I know, because I witnessed the Marshal fire out my window. I listened to the first responders on the scanner. I saw the embers dance across 120 feet of highway pavement to ignite the other side.
I watched it happen.
Blaming this on Environmental overreach is a witch hunt, nothing more.
