What credit markets will lend at a reasonable rate. Even after the S&P downgrade the yield on US debt is next to nothing because creditors know there is no real short term debt crisis. If there was the markets would reflect it. FUCK the insane tea party assholes and their terrorist like tactics to force their agenda on the nation. The debt ceiling as created by Congress is artificial and arbitrary. And unconstitutional. The 14th Amendment is pretty damn clear.
