Hate it when that happens
For longer posts, I generally like to write them offline in Wordpad and then copy and paste them when I'm done. I do that regardless of what website I'm on. Saves a lot of aggravation.
And yes your opinion and thoughts are worthwhile, even if they can't measurably change the reality we're in.
