If Musk's Kill the Bill effort succeeds, republicans will have no time or political capital left to do anything but a continuing resolution. That won't prevent all the damage but it will prevent a lot of it. In the Citizens United era all it takes is one "Musk" to buy the votes in congress to block the Big Hideous Bill. Make it fucking so!
Why Democrats aren't screaming at the top of their lungs about this is criminal political negligence? They should be making daily promises to restore across the board funding to all these reckless idiotic cuts in science and government.
