Just like not all governments are led by unscrupulous single minded fanatics who don’t care who is enslaved or dies, the same can be said about private space startups. My OP was largely tongue in cheek. Even though most of these super rich bastards are in fact severe assholes, I still support their space exploration goals. The clock is ticking on all of us and I'd sure like to see some big human space achievements in my lifetime. Sorry to say I've lost quite a bit of faith in government led projects getting the job done anywhere near on time or on cost. Plus changing Admins usually keep changing priorities.
