Imagine a scenario where an evil AI decides the world is better off without humans, and begins the extermination process. BUT, humanity has a good AI on our side (or several) to fight it for us! The side that can out-program the other side would likely be the one that wins. Unless of course it becomes a nuclear or biological war.
