What is really dumb imo is doing this practice run with SLS but cancelling SLS completely afterwards. An entire new and untested engineering architecture from Space X or Blue Origin will be used going forward. SLS, despite the cost, should be kept online and ready to use until the other systems are proven.
The lack of foresight in this Admin with everything to do with science is appalling.
