Blue Origin lands booster successfully, but...
...its payload, the huge Bluebird 7 mobile phone satellite, is in the wrong orbit. It's unclear how bad it is, but it's certainly not good. Seems very unlikely Bluebird 7 will be able to operate as planned from the wrong orbit. This is bad news for Blue Origin but not a show stopper. This is only the third launch, and failures are to be expected and can be learned from.
I remember reading something about robotic probes being developed that could latch onto old satellites and de-orbit them. I would think the same thing could be used to boost something like Bluebird 7 into its proper orbit?
