What are the potential physical processes that could cause this?
Not my area of expertise by any stretch by my guess would be Przybylski’s Star is possibly "polluted" by another nearby younger star, or some other event? Seems far more likely than some signal from an advanced civilization.
Can't imagine them deciding: let's see who's there by throwing a bunch of heavy elements into our own star.
