Besides, that may be a bass-ackwards way of looking at this. Remember, as long as Gadaffi controlled those weapons, we had no influence over, and little knowledge of, them. Now at least we have a chance of locating, and inventorying them, maybe even interdicting some and tracking the others.
We have a foot in the door now, and confusion on the ground, that's got to be better than a fully-in-control crackpot determined to destroy us.
