I like "Bandana Republic" better.
It fits in better with the redneck/cowboy/country mythos. We like to think of ourselves as having primarily rural roots and values.
Actually, when I think of the "typical" American, I see urban, eastern/southern European, 19th century immigrant, like my own family. I always think of Woody Allen, not John Wayne.
