I have someone do my grocery shopping for me since my knees will not allow me to do that much walking around on a hard floor. She has instructions to NEVER buy anything that says "light" on it. Light means they've taken the half unhealthy out of it and replaced it with totally unhealthy, either salt or high fructose corn syrup or both. I try not to buy much in the way or "prepared" foods. I buy frozen vegetables if they're nto available fresh or if it's going to be further down the line when I want to use them.
