We dealt with this. Everyone else here saw the cost of war numbers I posted (from an anti-war website) compared with things like the "stimulus package." Everyone saw my posts on Obama's budget illustration (showing where the government spends most of its money), Obama's budget historical tables for revenues and outlays in constant dollars, and Obama's own 2010 numbers on the figures for Bush's tax cuts for those in the upper income brackets.

I'm not going to repeat them here. I'm pretty sure almost all the relevant posts are less than a few weeks old. Not that repeating them would do any good.

The most fundamental characteristic of a dedicated leftist is a complete inability to import data that contradicts his or her beliefs. In fact, a leftist who sits down and actually thinks eventually stops being one (cf. David Mamet and others), and of course "natural selection" takes its course.
