I'm not that concerned about privacy issues but I am reasonably cautious. I have plenty of protection from viruses and malware and I do not get many alerts. My PC performance indicates that I am not infected in any way that slows me down or otherwise ruins my day and so far I have not experienced any successful attempts to steal my identity :) (not that it would be funny if it happened).
By the same token, I have no doubt that I am sometimes a victim of the little beasties that track your browsing and shopping habits
