They came, made their points about government being too big and too expensive, then they went back to their lives. In the following election, the Democrats were eviscerated. Biggest mid-term defeat in the House since 1938. A mind capable of dealing with "newer concepts" might have drawn a few conclusions from that.

It isn't the conservatives in this country who have done their damnedest to carve this nation up into ethnic, class, language, and other political interest groups. We all know where that finger points.
