That bit is easy, Robert showed it over on GeekSpeek. Basically, put "youtube" in brackets, followed by the youtube video number cut and pasted from the URL, then "/youtube" in brackets. (don't include the quote marks.)
Images are pretty easy too, if you use the insert image tab in the root post editor. That window also has some tabs for the source of the image, click on the URL tab and fill out the form.
Like others, I am struggling to get a hyper link with a proper text descriptor.
Just experimenting.
