Who is this Heritage Foundation, and what gives them the right to decide what the American national interest is, and what suits it? They never consulted me.

Never trust any organization that uses emotionally loaded and unassailable terminology to describe itself. Be particularly suspicious of terms like Heritage, Freedom, Patriot, Enterprise, Liberty and so on. The implication is that if you don't agree with them you are opposed to those virtues. I suppose next they'll be telling us if you don't wear an American flag lapel pin you must be a commie.

They're just carpet salesmen and two-bit Rotarians with bow ties and heroic delusions of grandeur. Sort of a Mothers of the American Revolution, for Junior Achievement types.

"Right Wing Think Tank" is a contradiction in terms.
