EDITED: I retired at 62, after 20 years in the system, and my Florida Retirement System benefit is less than 10% of this guy's. I didn't get ANY health insurance at all.
And I was considered an upper-level, "highly compensated", employee (Principal Planner/Planning Section Manager). It's enough to make me want to become a Republican.
You heard me right. <10%.
