It wouldn't have been stolen in any case - the owner was just walking around the car to the passenger side.

But I must strongly agree with Muslims on this point. Dogs can be strong, discliplined and useful guards but are basically dumb and filthy creatures, not fit to live inside one's home, nor should they have physical contact with humans. I've seen Muslims react with shock and disgust at the sight of Westerners letting dogs lick their faces, and frankly I agree with them (the dirty canine probably just came from licking its nether regions or worse, eating its feces)

Of course, cats are cleaner (and smarter) than dogs, but I wouldn't let a cat lick me either.
