Matt Drudge is going ballistic on the radio about the rumored birth of a human clone. There are a number of people who read too little science and see too many movies who have a rather bizarre idea of what a "clone" is, and I wish they'd stay out of the debate.

If someone clones you, assuming it works safely and without problems, some woman gives birth to your twin, only he's a lot younger than you are. With the same rights and humanity as your twin brother or sister would have, and the same stubborn individuality of personality as you would see between two twins. Big deal.
