Burt has used Apple computers since the 1970s
His first computer setup included 3 Apple II computers that ran custom software. He designed quite a few planes with that setup. Burt is a straight-forward engineer who uses plain-vanilla technology to create some of the most innovative designs in all aviation.
He's also very productive -- the CarbonAero prototype was his 309th design and he's done at least one more since then. Burt probably couldn't do a "normal" design if he wanted to, but who would want him to?
