Once you see close-up the miseries endured by an unwanted child, one born into a situation where there is no emotional and precious little physical support,

once you see the abuse heaped upon unwanted children by those who should be their protectors,

once you see the miseries these children, in their frustration, inflict on others,

a bit of compassion may throw a fleeting shadow across your heart.

Don't worry, it won't linger.
