An easy workaround to the Data problem
I have not seen Nemisis, so these posts were the first I'd heard about Data being killed. Not to worry, in one of the Next Generation episodes, Data disassembled Lor, his evil brother. This was the late episode where Data got his emotion chip and went freaky with the Borg. All they'd have to do is reassemble Lor and download Data's backup memory files.
