A new online "game" called There </a? is about to be launched. In it you pay real money for virtual clothes, pets, trips, etc. A beta tester said: "It's more of a vacation at Club Med," she said. "The beta testing was for three hours, and that wasn't long enough for me. I wanted to stay on all night." I guess you don't have to worry about sun-screen. It scares me that there are enough people around without real lives to make this (and other games like Sims On-line and EverQuest) viable.
