They, like Sadam might choose to attack another other country (Ie. Japan or even Taiwan) in an attempt to bring the Chinese in on their side.

Call it the old...We have a common enemy so please help me destroy him trick...

I think we're closer to WWIII right now than we have been at any time since the Cuban Missile Crisis.
