All very interesting stuff! I quit looking when I found the first reference, because I wasn't sure I had the right guy. When researching a person, I've gotten snookered a few times by people with identical names (even WEIRD identical names). Believe it or not, based on long experience on the Web, it is not as unlikely as you think that there would be two pilots named Milton Ruberfeld.
