Why is it gambling?
The def of gambling is to stake $ on something that has no bone fide element of skill. Surely you can judge a political situation and apply as much skill as investing in MSFT for example.
IMO the line between a skill based activity (day tradign stock) and gambling (Saddam futures) is very unclear.
