NBA question.

Let's assume the NBA has a policy to eliminate drug use among athletes. They are not OK, according to the NBA. We aren't debating the merits of that policy, that's done. They have decided on that.

Let's further assume police found 1 pound of marijuana in an NBA players house. The matter was thrown out of court when the search following a burglar alarm was declared invalid.

Now, a couple of months later let's have that same player and another in a vehicle after a game which is pulled over by a cop. Smells marijuana burning, searches the vehicle, finds pot which the players admit to smoking.

Question - wouldn't that be a time to do a UA (urinalysis) drug screen? If you wanted to clear drugs out of the NBA?

Hasn't happened.

Heh, heh. I love it when hypocrisy is laid out in plain sight.
