Grass
Meanwhile, it's 38.9 Centigrade outside (102 F), the hills are still burning, and my grass hasn't grown since October.
In fact, some places the grass is beginning to blow out of the ground along with the dust that used to be the soil, and the promised end of the El Nino drought seems suddenly to have receded.
Here comes the dust bowl, or maybe just a firestorm...
