Re: Fries?
In 1976, I visited Niagara falls and was very hungry (having not taken any breakfast and still under the jetlag having arrived the night before) and went to a fast food restaurant. Was told there were french fries....French fries.....french fries, what exactly are french fries? Then, when I realized...I said : you mean Belgian fries! The french make jokes around our fries and here I am eating what you call "French fries"..
The world upside down..or rather a first cultural shock of sorts.
