Bush's war-----not America's war....

We just saw the largest mass demonstrations in history. Demonstrations from Madrid to Reykjavik, and every place between.

Rome had 2 million, London 1 1/2 million, Paris 1 million, hundreds of thousands in New York (where no permits to march were allowed), More in Sydney, Melbourne, Denver, Santa Fe, Columbus, Montreal, Toronto, total estimated to approach 30 million.

Puleeze, don't try to say all these people are "airheads," or "butt-monkeys," or "appeasers," or anything other than what they are: people opposed to Bush and his administration's war.

This is not America's war. All these protests are not endorsements of Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden. They are recognitions of the failure of the Bush administration to conduct foreign policy and Duhbya's political failure that makes war a certainty. War is always a result of political failure. Under the defintion of "war as a continuation of politics, by other means."

This war we are entering into is poppy Bush's war, and Duhbya is intent on finishing what poppy failed to do.

Once we have entered into it, it will become America's war because of the obligation we share to support of servicemen. Until then, it is the right and obligation we share to protest a failing administrations efforts to distract the people from a piss-poor domestic agenda.

From Tasmania to Tampa the echo sounds that America is losing the moral imperative under Bush as well as a leadership position that should be reshaping a better world. In the long run this could be damaging to trade, investment and the future of American dominance on the world stage.

We have very little to win in the war we are entering into.
