Re: It was during the Clinton years
About 5 or 6 years ago I was teaching an Internet class to a bunch of adults. On of the sites I like to visit for the class was www.whitehouse.gov. Out of habit I type the .com instead of the .gov. There, on my overhead screen popped up a picture of a smiling Clinton with two necked women.
I said something like, “I don’t think this is the official Whitehouse site.”
One of the guys in my class said, “It looks official to me.”
That was embarrassing. I have never been back to that site.
