Talk about screwed up priorities
The Europeans are worried about the continuation of the crayfish genome but not their own.
"These European species are the result of tens of thousands of years of evolutionary adaptation. If they disappear, it is an entire genome, a genetic legacy, which will have gone forever."
Too bad the don't feel as passionately about their own genetic legacy. Maybe instead of getting tore up over crayfish immigration, they should worry more about it from the Third World.
